how to become a better student : boost your memory part 2

Now, we will cover the second part of our article :

How to improve memory : memorization

Did you ever try to pick up a big book and memorize it from cover to cover without understanding its contents ?

Yes, that's impossible. So it is on your school subjects. The first golden rule before trying to memorize a text, whatever its length, you must understand it. For example, in history, try to read event by event, like if you were existing there. For the dates, it can be difficult. Read the following tips to see if the help.

Wake up earlier 30 min before, it is the best period. Preferably in the early morning, when your brain is in ultimate states.

Try to disconnect from the problems. You cannot memorize if you are thinking about this and this and this, don't wonder why. Maybe it's difficult, but we are sure you will manage to do that.

Go to a quiet place. You will never concentrate on your lesson if you are in a noisy place.

Go to a garden, there you will find good amounts of oxygen to make your brain working in his best speeds.

A tip : the tenperature at which the body gives its best performance is between 68 and 72 degrees fahrenheit.

Have sufficient sleep : see our article about stress.
This do not means nor oversleeping : see related article to know how to solve it.

Try to link what you are trying to memorise and something meaningful for you.
